Not the fastest but good for its need., (What's this?) For the speed and price - this is going to be a replacement in mainstream laptops not powerful ones. I used this as a replacement for a HDD that failed in an HP Laptop for a friend of mine. His hard drive failed in about 18-24 months, which is disappointing from that standpoint.
This hard drive was an easy swap and generates less heat than the previous one. My friend mentioned that his laptop is running faster and generates less heat than before. I don't use the laptop so I can't give hands on details but my buddy reported that he has had no problems for over 12 months now since I replaced it. As a basic HDD replacement - this fits the bill.
quiet and fast, (What's this?) Just got this in mail, and loaded into my Macbook. First impression on the drive: fast, and very quiet comparing to my old 160GB OEM drive that came with the Macbook. I was actually able to finish installing LightRoom 3 in 10 seconds, it took 20 or so on the old drive.

Great for FatBoy PS3, (What's this?) I bought this hard-drive 3 months ago to install onto my 60GB Playstation 3 and it works great. Did my research on which HDD would be best and it came down to this and the Seagate top contender, but after trusting my initial instinct, went ahead and chose WD. I've had no issues and would greatly recommend this for an upgrade to an older model PS3. Installation was incredibly easy and I was back up and running in 30 minutes.
Just what I ordered, (What's this?) I am pleased with my Western Digital 250 GB Scorpio Blue Sata Notebook Hard Drive that I ordered. It worked perfectly when I installed it into my laptop. My laptop was damaged a while back and has been sitting, but once I put this in with a new installation disc it came back to life. The seller shipped the item promptly and showed up in good condition.
So far so good - 5 months in a Macbook., (What's this?) I had to replace the hard drive in my black, first-generation Macbook this summer that I've had for three or four years. I'd never gotten a non-Apple replacement part, but things are working just fine so far and I've had it in for 5 months.
Good product, works with Xbox 360, (What's this?) Bought this for use with an xbox 360 slim, cost $50 instead of $120 for the official one. Have to run a program to make it compatible. Amazon shipped it in a static bag, inside of a small
box. Drive was secured using spacers. Not sure fastest drive out there but certainly adequate, reliable so far.
No Problems !, (What's this?) Drive arrived on time as predicted. tested and installed the drive in my daughters laptop after copying the system to it. It is working fine as of this date (installed about a week ). as it's a WD, I know if I do have a problem, WD will handle it quickly as I have dealt with them before on such matters.
